My name is Robin, a Teacher of Physical Education and professional sports coach wholly driven by inspiring and developing the youth of today through sport. During school holidays I provide specialist sports coaching camps for children age 5-13 through my company, 'RT Sports Coaching'.

My inspiration comes from the satisfaction and unforgettable memories I have gained through sport from a young age. Not only did it keep me fit and healthy, but I made friends for life and learned the beauty of sporting competition - both the exhilaration of winning and learning of losing. I am deeply passionate about providing and giving these opportunities to others.

From the moment I played Under 7s Rugby for my home town, Wellington RFC (Somerset) and swung a golf club under the instruction of my dad for the first time age 8, my enthusiasm for sport has never left me.

Fast forward 20 years and I am lucky enough to have achieved captaincy for Somerset Under 18's Golf team with a handicap of 1, played National 3 Rugby at Old Patesians RFC (Cheltenham) and played over 100 first team caps for my home team Wellington RFC, including being extremely proud club captain for my final two seasons.

In 2012, with my first PE teaching job secured I launched my own sports coaching company, 'RT Sports Coaching'.  Since then hundreds of young children have developed their skills and confidence in Rugby, Football, Gymnastics and MultiSports.

As the sports camps have grown in popularity I have carefully sourced a very experienced and high quality coaching team. Lewis Reid (Football MultiSports), Helena Nicholls (Gymnastics), Jazz Wilson (Netball MultiSports) and Joe Snow (Rugby) make up the highly qualified team which I am very proud of (see The Coaches Introduction section for more details).

Focusing on coaching of the highest quality which is current and with maximum levels of activity, I draw upon years of experience to produce sports camps that are fun, memorable and inspirational.

Personally, I believe integrating sport into young peoples lives has a tremendously positive impact. As well as skill development - Fun, fitness and friendships are cemented, my dream is to influence this on as many people possible.

Sport is my job, my business and my biggest pleasure. Now living in South West London and thoroughly enjoying my new job as Teacher PE & Games at Kew House School, I aim to emulate the successful camps of Taunton, Somerset in London and have multiple camps running simultaneously, resulting in more children active, happy and improving their sport.

Lastly, it's reassuring to know that Prince Harry and I are on the same wavelength...

"The main Rugby World Cup Legacy is for more grassroots rugby across the country for children"
